James Butler founded Accounting Guide Solutions to help Alaskans manage and grow their operations. After moving to Alaska, he spent the first couple years working in public accounting, as an auditor, and traveled across Alaska for clients across varying industries.

He gained a respect for the challenges that these organizations face. The common problem is that many still have staff shortages while trying to meet ever-increasing requirements.
